SNF: 49ers vs Eagles Game Thread

Sunday Night Football, Week 4. Tonight the Philadelphia Eagles travel across the country to take on the San Francisco 49ers.

The Eagles have gotten off to a rough 0-2-1 start to the 2020 season, largely because Carson Wentz has been brutal. Wentz has thrown six interceptions in three games, has a sub-65 passer rating, and is averaging just 5.6 yards per attempt. If Wentz does not snap out of this the Eagles have no chance to compete this year.

The 49ers are off to a decent 2-1 start to the season, but the two victories have come against the Jets and the Giants, who have zero wins between them this year. The 49ers have been absolutely devastated by injuries this year, with 18 players on injured reserve. Tonight a couple of key players come off the injury list, as Deebo Samuel and George Kittle vastly upgrade the 49ers weapons for this game.
