Jets head coach Adam Gase said today that offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains will remain the team’s play caller this Sunday in the upcoming game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Gase says the #Jets will keep the play-calling the same as Sunday, so OC Dowell Loggains will run the offense at Kansas City.

Loggains took over play calling duties from Gase in last weekend’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. The results were mixed. The Jets had a relatively productive first half on offense, but the unit stalled in the second half, only gaining 4 total yards.
At this point it is difficult to say any change will have much of an impact. Neither Gase nor Loggains have proven themselves to be effective in the job. In any event, the lack of overall talent on the roster is likely a more pressing issue than the plays that are called.
It is worth noting that a change is possible. Early last week Gase indicated he would remain the play caller and then apparently changed his mind before the Buffalo game.
