Jets Podcast: Players to Watch in the Final Nine Games

At 0-7 and playing mostly uncompetitive football, the Jets are not an easy team to watch right now. They are likely to get blown out again this week to fall to 0-8. Missing the Playoffs for a tenth consecutive season is a virtual guarantee.

There aren’t many good reasons to watch this team right now, but these games still matter for the future of the team. Wins at this point will not save the 2020 season, but there are players on the roster who could be building blocks in 2021 and beyond. On today’s podcast I talk about some of those players.

I am not sure there are many players currently on the roster who are guaranteed to be part of the team’s foundation going forward. Their play will determine that. Which players can earn a future role on this team with a strong finish? I offer my thoughts on this episode.
