Week 7 of the 2020 NFL season continues with a handful of late afternoon games.

In perhaps the best of the late games, the 4-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the 3-2 Las Vegas Raiders. The Buccaneers are coming off a 38 - 10 dismantling of Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Tampa Bay’s middling offense has been supported by the NFL’s #1 ranked defense, as old friend Todd Bowles has worked wonders with the Buccaneers. The 3-2 Raiders are also coming off a big win, a surprising 40 - 32 shootout over their arch-rivals the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders have been carried this year by their #6 ranked offense, while the defense has struggled badly, giving up 30 or more points in all but one game this year. This should be an interesting matchup of great offense against great defense.

In the other late games, Justin Herbert and the 1-4 Los Angeles Chargers host Gardner Minshew and the 1-5 Jacksonville Jaguars in a contest of bottom dwellers; the 2-3 New England Patriots welcome former Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo home when the 3-3 San Francisco 49ers visit; and the 2-3 Denver Broncos try to get a win over division rivals the 5-1 Kansas City Chiefs in Denver.

Enjoy the games everybody. Use this thread to comment on whichever late afternoon games catch your fancy.
