Jets Injury Report: Sam Ficken Doubtful vs. Bills

The final injury report has been released ahead of Sunday’s game between the Jets and the Bills.

The Jets are likely going to be without kicker Sam Ficken who is doubtful. Former CFL and XFL kicker Sergio Castillo is on the practice squad. Under the NFL rules for 2020, the Jets could activate him for Sunday’s game without giving him a spot on the 53 man active roster. That seems like the most likely outcome if Ficken cannot play.

Left guard Alex Lewis is also doubtful. The Jets expressed skepticism about his ability to play earlier in the week. Josh Andrews will likely start in his place if he is unable to go.

George Fant is questionable with a knee injury, but he trended in the wrong direction during the week, missing Friday’s practice.

Mekhi Becton is also questionable after being limited at practice all week.

The Bills have a number of key players on the injury list. Notably, John Brown, Cody Ford, Dawson Knox, and Josh Norman are out.
