Jets Injury Report: Jamison Crowder and Sam Ficken Miss Practice

Here is the Thursday injury report for the Jets ahead of this weekend’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

A number of starters sat practice out. They include Alex Lewis, who Adam Gase has termed “week to week.”

Jamison Crowder also missed practice today. He was added to the injury report yesterday after apparently suffering a groin injury in practice. Crowder previously missed time this year with a hamstring injury he sustained in a practice.

Kicker Sam Ficken also missed practice with a groin injury. If he is unable to go, the Jets have former CFL and XFL kicker Sergio Castillo on the practice squad. He could be called up for the game.

Quarterback Sam Darnold was limited at practice for a second straight day. There remains a chance he will be ready to make his first start in three weeks on Sunday.

The Jets aren’t the only team dealing with injuries as the Bills have a number of key players on their injury report.

The final injury report of the week will be released tomorrow.
