Six weeks into the 2020 season, the main thing worth watching for the Jets is the 2021 NFL Draft order.
The Jets currently own the top selection as the only winless team in the league. There is a lot of competition for the spot, however. Seven other teams have only one win while two teams have a single win and a tie.
Here is the current top ten according to Tankathon.
- NY Jets 0-6
- Washington 1-5
- NY Giants 1-5
- Atlanta 1-5
- Jacksonville 1-5
- Minnesota 1-5
- Miami (From Houston 1-5)
- LA Chargers 1-4
- Philadelphia 1-4-1
- Cincinnati 1-4-1
For whatever it is worth, ESPN’s FPI likes the Jets’ chances of landing the top pick.
The Jets now have a 57% chance to earn the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, per FPI.

Considering nine teams are within a game and a half of them, it is extraordinary for the Jets to be over 50%, but that is where we are. Of course a 43% chance of not landing the top pick is significant. That’s why they play the rest of the season.
