New York Jets Flight Connections 10/20/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins may have been a breaking point for the team, as a number of players have been voicing their frustrations after being winless in 6 games. One of those players may be the most surprising, in Frank Gore. Gore was said to have come to New York in part because of HC Adam Gase. But while Gore did voice his displeasure with the team, he accounted for the bad play due to lack of execution, rather than a coaching issue - something that has been repeated constantly by the organization during this slump. If this was another player, I wouldn’t read into the ‘reason’ as much. But Gore is notorious for speaking what he deems is the truth, and if he thinks the team isn’t executing properly I’m inclined to believe him. We’ve seen tape already of Jets’ QBs missing open players, WRs running the wrong routes, etc; so it isn’t implausible, either. It’ll be something to continue to look into going forward.
