New York Jets Flight Connections 10/2/20

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The Jets unsurprisingly lost to the Broncos in what was a closer game than the score indicates - with some bad blood at the end. The Jets led for the first time in a game this season, but there’s a lot more to unwind here than that. Injuries continue to hit the team hard as Becton came in briefly to replace an injured Edoga, only to exit later. Darnold took a big hit in the 1st Quarter that took him out of the game briefly only for him to come back after a few plays. Darnold had an incredible TD run in the 1st quarter that resembled Lamar Jackson, but outside of that he showed a hard time getting off his 1st read; as well as seemingly having the inability to throw to the outside. Gase had some questionable game management skills, but he actually called a decent offensive game plan (outside his nagging need to run on 2nd and 10). Was this performance enough to salvage his job? Guess only time will tell. So with that, here are your links to the team today.
