New York Jets Flight Connections 10/19/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend. The Jets got shutout yesterday by the Dolphins, which is the first time the Dolphins have done that to the Jets since 1982. And with another week, comes another player traded; as well as more drama surrounding the team. This time it was NT Steve McClendon (along with a 2023 7th) who was traded to the Bucs for a 2022 6th Round Pick. It seems like the Jets and Joe Douglas have gone into full-on firesale mode. The season is lost and has been since the start of the season if you’ve been paying attention. Joe Douglas’ talk prior to the season was just that - talk. And with the language Gase has used when talking about the team, the odds of him being gone before the end of the year seem slim to none. At least the team has given a reason to no longer watch.
