Our readers’ and writers’ contributions to this site are a major reason why Gang Green Nation is the best Jets blog in the history of Jets blogs. No contribution, big or small, should go unnoticed. That’s why we’ll highlight some of the best comments and FanPosts on a weekly basis.
Without further ado, I bring to you, Gang Green Nation’s Highlight Reel for the past week:
It’s Bigger than Adam Gase - Jet’s Staff That’s Gotta Go!
BiggBossBrett details some members of the Jets staff who should be fired.
Chris Johnson: How to Fix This Before Another Lost Decade
Charlie_IMHO has a solution to turn around the Jets.
Joe Brady and a Potential Coaching Tree
GenoTime7 details who the Jets should hire for our next coaching staff.
On the Bell/Gase Fiasco:
This is the same kind of stuff that started happening in Miami during Gase’s last season there, which is why he needs to be fired now—the guy is a cancer who has completely lost the locker room, the fans, and the media. We may not win any games without him, but we sure as hell aren’t going to win any with him if the players are not behind him. For the good of team morale, the guy needs to be gone NOW.
I think if Bell gets Gase fired, he should get a statue out front of MetLife.
On Gase getting the anti game ball:
I agree with this. Except, Gase is so bad it sort of feels wrong to give him any sort of award at all.
On Adam Gase considering to give up play calling:
Why would he want to deprive the team of his brilliant offensive mind?
On how things can always get worse:
You know how when things are bad people say, well, things can’t get any worse? Things can always get worse. To date the Jets are actually winning the turnover battle, 7-5. In 3 of the 5 games the Jets offense has had zero turnovers. And we’re still getting blown out. It will be a sight to see when the turnovers start coming in bunches.
On Sam Darnold:
If I am Sam Darnold’s father, I steal his phone and “like” every Manish tweet in the past year.
On Sam Darnold Being out for the Dolphin’s Game:
I’m glad. I was getting tired of seeing Sam throwing for 3 yards and lying on his back, I’d rather see Joe Flacco throw for three yards and lying on his back for a while.
The most likely candidate to take over play calling is offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains
