Jets vs Cardinals Second Half Thread

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at New York Jets Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

The first half of the Jets game against the Arizona Cardinals is in the books, and the Jets trail the Cardinals, 17 - 3.

This was a tale of missed opportunities. This game should be close, but the Jets blew the few opportunities they had to score touchdowns. In a game where the Jets are playing the only way they can to have a chance, Joe Flacco took care of the ball in a conservative, ball control offense. Le’Veon Bell played as well as we have seen him play in a Jets uniform. The Jets defense contained the Cardinals passing game. The Jets defense intercepted the ball deep in Cardinals territory. The Jets offense had a long drive down to the Cardinals 13 yard line. And still the Jets trail by two touchdowns, because they couldn’t gain one yard on third and fourth down, and they couldn’t punch the ball into the end zone.

If as many things go right for the Jets as went right for them in the first half and they still trail the Cardinals by multiple touchdowns, it does not bode well for the Jets chances the rest of the way.

We go into the second half with the Jets trailing by 14 points at halftime.

Enjoy the second half everyone.
