Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend. As most of you know by now, Kobe Bryant, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, along with his daughter and baseball coach John Altobelli, passed away yesterday in a helicopter accident. I’d like to dedicate today’s FC to Kobe, because of his impact in my own life personally. As someone who has been fortunate enough to coach athletes of all ages in various sports, the ‘Mamba Mentality’ has been echoed by me countless times. To be a warrior in the sport, and compassionate outside of it. Hard work, determination, and passion for the things which you love, with the core focus on being the best. And this mentality extends to aspects much more important than sports, but also in life. Whether it is in your profession, sport, or personal life, there is always something all of us can improve on. And if you have people who look up to you, make sure they know you’re on their side.
