Jets podcast: Looking at defensive free agents

On today’s podcast we continue our look at upcoming Jets free agents. After Wednesday’s show focused on offensive players with expiring contracts, today we move to defensive and special teams free agents for the Jets.

There are less key players hitting the market this offseason for the Jets on defense. Jordan Jenkins and Brian Poole are among the most prominent defenders. The rest are mainly role players and backups.

On today’s show we discuss these players, and I offer my views on how important it is for the Jets to keep these guys and how much the Jets should spend to keep them in New York. I also discuss some general team building principles which I believe are important.
