The matchup for Super Bowl LIV is set. The Kansas City Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in two weeks in Miami.
In the AFC Championship Game the Chiefs overcame an early deficit to eliminate the Tennessee Titans 35-24. This is the first time in 50 years Kansas City is going to the Super Bowl. The last time the Chiefs played in the big game was the final season before the AFL-NFL merger.
In the NFC Championship Game, the 49ers dominated the Packers 37-20. When these teams met in the regular season, San Francisco won a one-sided game. Today’s game was a continuation of that dominance.
We have our matchup. Andy Reid and Kyle Shanahan, arguably the two best offensive minds in the NFL, will face off with the Lombardi Trophy on the line.
For once, Jets fans can enjoy the big game knowing the Patriots will not win it all.
