New York Jets Flight Connections 1/17/20

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. It seems as if the ‘will he stay, or will he go’ back and forth between the Jets and Le’Veon Bell will continue even further. After Joe Douglas assured people earlier this season of Bell’s presence on the team next year, reports are now indicating that the two sides are more than likely heading towards a breakup. It’s hard to buy into completely, as Bell is coming off possibly his worst season, and his contract isn’t going to be easy to move. It’s unclear whether or not the Jets will bite the bullet on a cap hit if they release him, but I’m not sure it’s feasible to do so at this time. Even in a down year, there’s potential for Bell to bounce back and be an asset for the team. But considering that coach Adam Gase didn’t want Bell to begin with, it’s really anyone’s guess as to what gets done. With that, here are your links to the team today.
