Monday Night Football, Week 1. In the second game of a Monday Night Football doubleheader, the Denver Broncos head west to take on the Oakland Raiders. This is a showdown between two storied franchises of the AFC West which have both fallen on hard times.
The Broncos have won six and five games, respectively, over the last two years. That marks the first time in more than 40 years that the Broncos have had back to back losing campaigns.
The Raiders, after appearing in the Super Bowl in the 2002-2003 season, have had one winning season in the last 16 years. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
