The Jets fell to 0-1 on Sunday. The season opened in an ugly fashion as New York blew a 16-0 second half lead to the Buffalo Bills, losing 17-16 at MetLife Stadium. This was not the way anybody wanted Adam Gase’s tenure to begin.
On today’s podcast we discuss the game. Ultimately I think this was the type of game where you could choose your own narrative. There wasn’t a single unit of the team that performed at a winning level. That goes for offense, defense, special teams, and coaching.
Many of the concerns about the team entering the season proved costly, including cornerback, offensive line, and kicker. The Jets have eight days to think about what went wrong before a fairly important Week 2 Monday night game against the Browns.
