Robby Anderson and Trumaine Johnson questionable for Jets vs. Bills

NFL: New York Jets-Training Camp Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

The final injury report for Week 1 is out.

Despite head coach Adam Gase expressing optimism about Robby Anderson and Trumaine Johnson all week, the Jets’ number one receiver and number one corner are both questionable for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Anderson and Johnson were limited in practice all week.

On Johnson’s front, Adam Gase did continue to express optimism.

On Trumaine Johnson...

Yeah, everything has been looking positive. We’ll see how today goes and hopefully no setbacks and it’s just one step closer to the game.

Anderson and Johnson might play, but it is unclear whether either will be at 100% after a week limited in practice.

On the Buffalo side, injuries appear to be more limited. One exception is old friend Andre Roberts who has been ruled out of Sunday’s game with a quad injury. Roberts was a Pro Bowl return man for the Jets a year ago.
