New York Jets Flight Connections 9/3/19

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. There’s only two more days until the NFL season is officially underway, and I am as hyped as ever. The Jets could have their first dynamic offense in what would be near a decade, and I’m very interested to see how the team uses Ty Montgomery in the offense. In regards to the Jets, the team hired former Steelers’ WR Hines Ward as an Assistant Coach to help with the WR group. I love this hire, as Ward showed himself to be a student of the game, albeit to the disdain of opposing defenders. His presence should provide some toughness to the group, and hopefully a little boost in their overall performance throughout the year. Speaking of WR’s, the Jets have managed to sign fan favorite Greg Dortch back to the Practice Squad after originally releasing him. Hopefully he works on his receiving skills and manages to get called up during the season at some point. With that said, here are your links to the team this Tuesday.
