Monday Night Football, Week 3. In tonight’s game the Chicago Bears head east to take on the Washington Redskins in Washington, D.C. This is a showdown between two NFC teams with storied pasts, but each of which have disappointed thus far in 2019.

The Bears are led by young quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who has not yet lived up to his lofty draft status. Through the first two weeks of the 2019-20 NFL season, Mitchell Trubisky ranks 28th in passing yards (348), 27th in completion percentage (58.3) and 32nd in yards per attempt (4.83). Trubisky is one of only three starting quarterbacks with more than 50 passing attempts and zero touchdown passes. The Bears have scored just one offensive touchdown this season.

The Redskins are led by journeyman quarterback Case Keenum. They have won seven straight and 13 of their last 15 games against the Bears. Washington hasn’t lost to Chicago in more than 15 years. Washington dropped to 0-2 with last week’s loss to Dallas. The Redskins have allowed 63 points through two games. That is second most in the NFL through two games.

It’s the Bears and the Redskins in an NFC clash of former titans. Enjoy the game everybody.
