It was not a fun Monday night of football for the Jets at MetLife Stadium. The Browns came into the Meadowlands and beat the Jets soundly 23-3.
The blame for this one falls squarely on the shoulders of the offense. An undermanned defense put up a valiant effort. If not for an untimely play here or there, the Browns could have been held well below the 23 they ultimately scored. Unfortunately for the Jets the offense failed to deliver for the second straight week. The team was down to its second and then third quarterbacks, but the issues seemed to go well beyond quarterback play.
In a positive development, it’s at least possible that the Jets found a kicker who can make a field goal.
The negative is the Jets are 0-2 and have a date with New England ahead of them.
Listen to the show to hear my thoughts on everything.
