Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season gets underway with a plethora of early afternoon games.
Perhaps the best of the early afternoon games features a traditional NFC North rivalry, as the Minnesota Vikings take on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Vikings and the Packers are tied for the early NFC North lead and each team looks to get an early leg up in the division in this game.
In other early games the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins renew a heated NFC East rivalry; the Seattle Seahawks make the long trip east to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game featuring two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in Russell Wilson and Ben Roethlisberger; the New England Patriots go up against token resistance in the Miami Tankers Dolphins; Kyler Murray and the funky Arizona Cardinals offense get a stern test when they face off against a tough Baltimore Ravens defense, while second year Ravens quarterback sensation Lamar Jackson looks to continue his red hot start to the 2019 season against the Cardinals; the San Francisco 49ers matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals in what looks to be a contest between also-rans; the Los Angeles Chargers take on the Detroit Lions; the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Texans square off in an AFC South skirmish; the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans also renew an AFC South rivalry; and the Buffalo Bills play their second straight game in MetLife Stadium as they take on Saquon Barkley and the New York Giants.
Enjoy the games everybody. Use this thread to comment on whichever early afternoon games catch your fancy.
