The Jets have released their final injury report in advance of Monday’s game against Cleveland. The news is not good. Linebacker C.J. Mosley has been ruled out of the game against the Browns. The Jets had expressed optimism about his chances of playing so this comes as a minor surprise.
Rookie Quinnen Williams has also been ruled out of the game. leaving the Jets down two key defensive players.
Two starting offensive linemen, Kelvin Beachum and Brian Winters are questionable.
So is new acquisition Demaryius Thomas. This is a bit of a surprise since Thomas hasn’t practiced all week with a hamstring injury. Under normal circumstances it would be somewhat unusual for a player to suit up after not practicing all week. In Thomas’ case, he would be playing in a game before participating in his first practice with the Jets. That seems unlikely. Who knows, though?
