Football is back. Well, kinda back. Sure, the games don’t count, you barely see the starters, and you need a scorecard to identify many of the players you do see a lot of. Still, it’s NFL football, the Jets are hitting players in different colored uniforms, and after the long, long off season, it’s great to watch some Jets football again, even if it is of the pre-season variety.

The New York Jets technically are the road team tonight when they face off against the New York Giants in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The game starts at 7:00 pm EDT. The weather in East Rutherford will be pretty much the norm for this time of year, which means a little warm for football. Skies will be partly cloudy throughout the game. Winds will be out of the west southwest at 5 - 10 mph. Temperatures will start the game in the low 80s and dip into the upper 70s in the second half. Humidity will be comfortable, in the high 50s and 60s, making for a lovely evening for spectators, if a tad warm for the players. The risk of showers will be near zero throughout the game. This will be a great night to watch a football game if you don’t mind the games not counting and the starters barely playing.

For those watching the game at home, conditions will be comfortable, with steady temperatures in the low 70s, low humidity, no wind to speak of and no chance of showers.

Enjoy the game everybody.
