Neil Glat Stepping Down As President Of The New York Jets

The New York Jets announced today that Neil Glat will be stepping down as Team President and transitioning to a new role as Senior Advisor.

Neil Glat served as President of the New York Jets for nearly eight years. Glat’s role was on the business end of the franchise, overseeing all off-the-field activities. During his tenure with the Jets Neil Glat is credited with numerous improvements and innovations, as well as developing partnerships and strengthening relations with many outside organizations. Glat spearheaded the development and design of the Jets new uniforms. Under Glat Jets 360, an Emmy award winning content platform, was developed. Glat was also responsible, among many, many other accomplishments, for implementing the Jets Rewards program and digital ticketing solutions, executing a groundbreaking deal with MGM in the gaming space, putting in place partnerships with Def Jam Recordings, Marvel, and WWE, expanding fan engagement with numerous new events, helping to combat bullying in schools, and having the Jets recognized as “The Most Innovative Sports Team” by a leading sports and technology publication.

Neil Glat gave this brief statement regarding his resignation as President:

I want to thank The Johnson Family for giving me an amazing opportunity to be part of their truly special organization. Woody and Christopher are terrific leaders, and were outstanding mentors to me. I am extremely grateful to the both of them. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to all the outstanding people who are part of the Jets family. There’s never a good time to leave, but it’s the right time for me to take on new challenges.
