Here is today’s thread to discuss Jets training camp as things move along in preparation for the 2019 season.
Friday was an unpleasant day in camp. As is the case with many unpleasant camp days, the injuries started piling up for the Jets. Kelvin Beachum left practice with an ankle injury. Ty Montgomery and Trumaine Johnson also were banged up. The Beachum injury was particularly scary since he plays such an important position, and the Jets don’t have much depth on the offensive line. The good news is that Adam Gase indicated none of the injuries is serious. If a team is going to suffer injuries in camp, it helps when they happen prior to the start of preseason. It gives everybody plenty of time to recover prior to the real games starting.
The GGN Twitter widget never shows signs of injury. It is embedded below to provide updates from the day at camp.
