Joe Douglas and the Jets have made a move for some cornerback depth. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Jets agreed to deal 2020 sixth-round pick to the Colts for cornerback Nate Hairston.
Trade: Jets dealing a 2020 6th-round pick to the Colts for CB Nate Hairston, per source. Hairston started 11 games the past two years. Still has two years left on his contract.

The 25-year old Hairston is entering his third season in the NFL, after the Colts selected him out of Temple with the 158th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2017 Draft.
Hairston played in 13 games last year, starting seven. He began the year as a starter at cornerback but eventually lost his role on defense and transitioned to special teams. In 2017, he played in 14 games, starting four, getting at least 22 snaps of defensive action in each game.
