The Jets got their first win of the preseason last night in Atlanta. The win over the Falcons evened the team’s preseason record at 1-1. In reality the final scores don’t matter much in preseason. The games are decided by backups trying to earn a roster spot. Individual performances matter more.
On today’s podcast we take a look at what happened in last night’s game. There were plenty of things to feel good about. Most significant in that category was another solid outing from Sam Darnold. Other players also stepped up and performed well, including first round pick Quinnen Williams. Other performances were not as good. Most notable from that group would be the kicker and the cornerbacks. Both position groups are major question marks, and we did not see much to alleviate concerns. We will discuss all of it on the podcast today.
Thanks as always for tuning into the show.
