Jets fans are optimistic about 2019

We are nearing the start of the season, and optimism is high for Jets fans.

According to SB Nation’s FanPulse survey, 76% of Jets fans have confidence in the direction of the team. That is a big increase over the 55% confidence rating the last time we measured, which was after the Draft.

In that time the Jets brought in a general manager considered to be a rising front office star, which probably accounts for some of the jump. Additionally, Sam Darnold had a strong training camp and is off to a good start in the preseason.

Only 34% of Jets fans were confident at the end of the 2018 season so things seem to be looking up.

Additionally we asked which 2018 division champion is least likely to repeat this year. The winner was the Baltimore Ravens at 27.37% slightly edging out the Dallas Cowboys at 26.52%. Unfortunately the Patriots were the lowest. Only 1.90% of fans polled think they are the least likely to repeat.
