Jets training camp news and live updates 8/1

The Jets are back on the practice field today. Things are scheduled to get started at 8:25 a.m. at the team’s facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.

We have now hit the month of August. This is the month of preseason in the NFL. The official start of the preseason is now only one week away. Next Thursday night the Jets will meet the Giants at MetLife Stadium for the teams’ annual preseason meeting. At that point things will really start to kick into gear. The preseason will help to settle many of the roster and position battles that started in camp. But we have to get there first. There still are a few practice left before that preseason opener.
