Today is the first day of rest for the Jets in the 2019 training camp. There is no practice scheduled for Tuesday. The team will be back on the field Wednesday to continue preparations for the upcoming season.
Every year around this time expectations tend to be high. Fans of all 32 teams dream of a successful season with a deep postseason run.
On today’s podcast we talk about where expectations should be for this Jets team in 2019. I don’t think it’s fair to demand a Super Bowl trophy to declare this coming season a bust. Still I think there needs to be substantial improvement in the win-loss record. We are past the point where the Jets can fall back on rebuilding as an excuse for a poor performance.
