Hey guys welcome to the 215th edition of the thread about nothing.
I know you guys are ready for a long holiday weekend. Happy 4th of July to all of you.
I decided I would put on here whatever came up on my drive to work this morning, and luckily for everyone, it was a quite wonderful song. (I was going to go with something patriotic and American, but I feel there will be a lot of that everywhere else so here we can change it up a little).
The song I've chosen is "The Thrill Is Gone" by the late, great B.B. King and Tracey Chapman. I'm a huge fan of B.B. I have played the guitar since my early teens and I've always dreamed of playing like him, effortless with that beautiful tone he has in everything he plays. Tracey's voice alongside his, makes this a truly special song.
Have a great holiday guys and let's hope the Yankees don't get swept by the Mets.
Here is B.B. King and Tracey Chapman, but first the rules.
Here are the TAN rules.
1) No politics, no personal attacks, no excessive swearing, no porn, no graphic violence/ gore.
2) The-Mod-Formerly-Known-as-Smackdad has ultimate, mind boggling authority. If he or any other moderators or editors say drop it, let it go. Please don't argue. It won't end well. Trust me on this one.
3) If there is a problem email macgregorwells@yahoo.com and he'll try to work things out.
