Adam Gase did not have much information to share after practice.

Crowder projects to be the fourth or fifth option in the Jets passing game this season. Gase has a reputation for utilizing the screen game extensively so Crowder figures to get some opportunities there.
The 2019 free agent signing is reportedly having a strong training camp.
We will await more news on the severity of the injury. If a player is going to suffer an injury in training camp, it is better for it to happen in the early stages. Opening day is still over a month away, which gives Crowder plenty of time to recover as long as the injury is not severe.
Washington selected Crowder in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent his first four seasons there before signing with the Jets this offseason.
