Jets training camp news and live updates 7/29

The Jets are back at practice today as training camp continues at the team facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.

During Sunday’s practice most observers noted that the defense seemed to have the upper hand. This was a new development as the offense had won most of the early days.

The team was also hit by injuries for the first time. Backup offensive lineman Brent Qvale went down with an apparent serious injury. He was carted off the field. Le’Veon Bell also had to leave practice early, but the team quickly calmed down any fears. Bell was dealing with cramps, which one might expect at an early training camp practice after the player misses a full season.

The Jets are scheduled to have their first day of training camp off tomorrow.
