New York Jets Flight Connections 7/29/19

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over the weekend. As training camp continues, the Jets have gotten their first player with a major injury in OT Brent Qvale. Although this is devastating for Qvale the person, I think this actually helps the Jets to see what they have in possible future players like 2019 pick Chuma Edoga, and Tom Compton — just to name a couple. Let’s remember, it’s not like Qvale was an above average player. Being on a team with a horrible O-line for 4 years without cracking the starting rotation is pretty underwhelming, though that says more about the Jets than Qvale. Let’s just hope that he is the only major injury suffered to the team during this season, because health is one of many key factors that can help push a team into the playoffs.
