The Jets are on the practice field today as training camp continues at the team facility in Florham Park, New Jersey. It is another early day on the weekend as things are scheduled to get started at the new standard 8:25 a.m. time.
Thus far in training camp reports have indicated the offense is ahead of the defense. That is not a big surprise. For years the Jets have gone as far as their defense will take them, but that figures to change in 2019. The team has some legitimate players on offense and some glaring holes at key spots on the defensive side of the football. It is a bit of a role reversal, but that seems to be the way things will go in 2019.
