Jets training camp news and live updates 7/27

The Jets return to the practice field today for their third practice of training camp in 2019. Things are scheduled to start at 8:25 am Eastern at the team facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.

This is slated to be Quinnen Williams’ first practice. After holding out for the first practice of camp, the team held him out yesterday. Williams did pass his conditioning test so he is ready to go.

This is also slated to be the first padded practice of training camp. The intensity level of training camp in today’s NFL is much lower than it was in decades past. There are few padded practices. Even padded practices these days aren’t super intense, but it will be a step up from the first two days of camp.
