Today is the second practice of Jets training camp in 2019. Things are scheduled to get underway at 8:25 a.m. at the team facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.
The important business of getting the first round pick signed is now done. The team and Quinnen Williams agreed to a contract yesterday, ending the brief holdout of the third overall pick. While this situation was a bit of a distraction and a nuisance very little was lost. Williams only missed a single practice.
The Jets also have moved nickel Brian Poole off the NFI list. The slot corner was surprisingly placed there before the start of camp. It was not clear how serious the injury was. Evidently it was not serious at all. He is expected to take part in practice on Friday.
