Podcast: Jets training camp begins

Welcome back.

Today is the official start of Jets training camp. The team is officially back on the practice field to prepare for the 2019 season. That means we are back in regular daily podcast mode.

Today’s show will focus on catching up. There have been a number of developments pertaining to the team over the last week.

The most notable is the surprising holdout of Quinnen Williams. For the second straight year the Jets have failed to get their first round pick signed on time for training camp. Why the Jets have so much trouble with a process that is simple for most of the league is difficult to understand. But this holdout is at least not as impactful as Sam Darnold’s could have been last year.

On today’s show we also discuss some of the team’s recent signings, injuries, and faces who will appear during training camp this summer.
