New York Jets Flight Connections 7/12/19

Good morning, Jet fans! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The green hype machine is in full force as NYJ writer Olivia Landis describes the team as having some ‘serious depth’, which I honestly think is a little bit of an overstatement. As much as I love ‘Iron Man’ and think Leonard Williams will excel in Gregg Williams’ defense, the team has absolutely no depth behind it. Quinnen Williams will hopefully become a stud, but you can’t call Steve McLendon a force, (he’s more likely to be cut or never see the field) and I doubt anyone outside the team’s fans can name anyone behind them. It’s not like the Jets were lighting up the QB last year and the only difference is the addition of Quinnen. To be frank, I’d rather the Jets have an edge rushing stud who can manage 12+ sacks than whatever ‘depth’ we have (and we’ve only had 1 player with more than 10 sacks in the past 10 years). But it’s at least encouraging knowing there’s some healthy optimism like Landis’ take. With that, here are your links to the team to start off your weekend.
