Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Even after the hiring of a new GM and filling out the personnel with a staff that have solid resumes’, it seems that relevant Jets’ news has gone the way of the dodo. It’s gotten to a point where one writer has suggested that Josh McCown actually holds a special spot in Jets’ history, and it isn’t for being the placeholder of the future franchise quarterback. Now this isn’t a dig at Josh, but just the reality of the situation. Is creating ‘stability’ really a thing when the team goes 5-8 with him under center and he didn’t finish the season? It isn’t, but it does seem like the type of thing historically bad franchises (it hurt me to type that) cling to when players are able to present a type of underwhelming mediocrity to the team without being a total laughing stock. The acquisitions of Joe Douglas, Darnold, and company have me excited in the hopes of that mentality changing. After all, this is a results driven business — and who doesn’t like winning? With that, here are your links to the team this Thursday.
