New York Jets Flight Connections 6/01/19

New, comments
NFL: Combine Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, GGN! The Jets were back on the football field with another round of OTAs this week. Sam Darnold reportedly has looked sharp this off season. With any luck that can carry through to when they put on the pads and start hitting. Mandatory minicamp takes place this coming week, so we will soon see what Le’Veon Bell looks like on the field in a Jets uniform. After this coming week there will be one more round of OTAs the following week and then there will be no more Jets organized football activities until training camp begins in late July. This long stretch of dead time for the players can often be a time of off the field troubles, so let’s hope the Jets players sail through unscathed this year. In other news the Jets search for a new general manager is heating up, with Joe Douglas reportedly the heavy favorite to land the job if he wants it.
