Jets fans, sign up for FanPulse here!
Fan confidence in the Jets doubled between the end of the season and the end of free agency according to SB Nation’s FanPulse poll. The momentum did not carry over into the NFL Draft, though.
At the end of the 2018 season, only 34% of Jets fans felt confident in the direction of the team. That total went up to 67% after Mike Maccagnan’s free agent spending splurge.
By the time the Draft came around, confidence was starting to slope downward. In our pre-Draft poll, the confidence level went down to 61%. It fell further after the Draft, down to 55%.

The good news is more than half of Jets fans are confident. The bad news is that it the fourth lowest confidence score in the league. Only Giants, Texans, and Buccaneers fans currently feel less confident about their teams.
It is an interesting development considering the Jets added a consensus top three player from this year’s Draft class.
Why do you think the confidence level fell?
