With the Draft over and rosters mostly set, we can look forward to the 2019 NFL season. The Jets have made a number of big changes through free agency and the NFL Draft. Most of the important positions on this roster are already settled. While last year’s training camp featured a wide open battle for the most important role, starting quarterback, this year’s camp battles will be much lower profile. There still are unsettled roles on the roster that will be sorted out.

On today’s podcast we look ahead to these training camp battles and explore which jobs are up for grabs. The center position will likely be one of them, even though the options are less than inspiring. There also figures to be some competition at backup quarterback and a battle for the second tight end spot. On the defensive side of the ball, playing time at the premium positions of cornerback and edge rusher is up for grabs. There are a lot of players who could be in the mix for playing time.

Thanks for listening.
