Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their day, and were able to enjoy the holiday yesterday. OTA’s are in their second week, and the Jets are continuing to search for their GM of the future. As a Jet fan I want the most qualified person to be in these positions to succeed. But the pessimist in me can think of nothing more than some sort of nepotism out-doing whatever qualifications could be needed. I know, that’s pretty cynical, but is there any reason for us to honestly expect less from the organization? Gase and Christopher Johnson have both expressed the new GM will have total personnel control, but I’m not so sold on that as others may be. After the sequence of events that led to Maccagnan’s firing, everything said by this regime should honestly be taken with a grain of salt. Does this mean I want the Jets to fail? Absolutely not. What it does mean however, is that I have little faith in the people making the decisions there. With that said, here are your links to the team this Tuesday.
