The Jets have added another punter to their roster, Matt Darr.
We've signed free agent punter Matt Darr.

Darr had a brief 5 game stint with the Bills in 2018. He was out of the league in 2017 after a two year stint with the Miami Dolphins. One of those years coincided with Adam Gase’s tenure in Miami. The new interim general manager has turned to a familiar source to create training camp competition for Lac Edwards.
Darr has a career average of 45.4 yards per punt with an average net of 39.5 yards. His 47.6 yard average in 2015 ranked third in the league.
He punted in college at Tennessee, going undrafted in 2015.
Update: To clear a spot on the roster for Darr, the Jets have waived tight end Jordan Leggett.

Leggett was a fifth round pick in 2017. His brief Jets career comes to an end with only 14 catches for 114 yards and a single touchdown.
