The Jets have added another quarterback to their roster. Luke Falk has been claimed off waivers from Miami.
The Jets claimed QB Luke Falk off of waivers from Miami, per source. He stays in the division.

Falk was a sixth round pick of Tennessee last season out of Washington State. He failed to make the Titans’ 53 man roster and ended up with the Dolphins. He was placed on injured reserve early in the season with a wrist injury. Falk is a former Pac 12 rival of Sam Darnold. Adam Gase was his head coach last year during his time in Miami, and that is the likely reason the Jets took an interest.
Something will likely have to give at the quarterback position for the Jets. Falk is the fifth quarterback on the roster. Darnold is obviously coming to training camp. So is the recently signed Trevor Siemian.
But there aren’t enough reps to go around for five quarterbacks. Even carrying four is pushing it. At least one of the other two quarterbacks, Davis Webb or the recently signed Brandon Silvers, will probably be on his way out of town.
