Jets podcast: What the NFL Draft changed

NFL: NFL Draft Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

This is the time of year where NFL fans are assessing their team’s Draft class. What do these new players mean for each team in the league?

The Jets added a class of six players. The team addressed the defensive line in the first round. Edge rusher and tackle were the third round picks. A tight end was added in the fourth round. A linebacker was selected in the fifth round, and a cornerback was the pick in round number six.

On today’s podcast we look at what changes the Draft will bring for the Jets. We will discuss four in particular. These changes come in all sizes, large and small. Some changes will be immediate while others will be longer term deals. We will discuss the pass rush, special teams, run blocking, and the future of the offensive line.
