My 2019 Re-Draft

I didn't mind the Jets draft, I'd give it a solid B+, our front 7 should be unstoppable with Polite and Williams, but don't really believe we upgraded many other positions. The TE and T picks were good and I'm satisfied with those, but think we couldve done better, below is my Re-Draft.

Round 1 - Jets Pick Quinnen WIlliams - Redraft - Quinnen Williams

Round 3 - Jets Pick Jachai Polite - Redraft Jachai Polite

Round 3 - Jets Pick Chuma Edoga - Redraft picks Hakeem Butler, WR, ISU - Edoga fills a position of need and compares well against the incumbant left tackle, he'll be a solid swing as a rookie we hope. Thats all good and all but why not get a receiver who many considered a first round talent and with some coaching can be our WR1 and a franchise guy for us? We also keep our 7th rounder

Round 4 - Jets Trade Down and get Trevon Wesco and Blake Cashman, Redraft stays put and picks Julian Love, CB from Notre Dame - Love was widely considered a top 8 if not top 5 cb in a deep class, available in round 4 is a gift for a player who could likely beat out Roberts for the outside job or at least be a situational outside player as a rookie. I had him as my next up after Rock Ya Sin, Murphy, Baker and Greedy. I like the Wesco pick and Cashman has an impressive college resume, I just dont see us ever needing Cashman we got 2 top starters at the position and very strong depth behind them that also make a difference on special teams. I do like the Wesco pick he seems like he'll add something, but would not have passed up a starting CB for him.

Round 6 - Blessaun Austin, Redraft TRADES UP w the Saints and gives its 6th along with its early 7th to move up to round 6 pick 4 and selects Lamont Gaillard, C, Georgia - At the combine when asked who the best interior OL he had faced, Quinnen Williams answered "LaMont Gaillard from Georgia." He had played against OU and MSU's great guards and centers but Lamont had a different level of tenacity. Scouts also called him a leader, will be a steal for the Cards in the 6th. Wish we could've traded up so we could have some competition at Center.

New Draft Haul:

Quinnen Williams

Jachai Polite

Hakeem Butler

Julian Love

Lamont Gaillard

I don't know about yall, but that list seems a lot more promising and exciting to me and it was something we could've had. What are your thoughts?
